10 years ago, October 10, 2009, the Aunts first convened to the Tall Grass, and began to Do Their Stuff. Legendarily, the first song they played together was "Hit Me with Your Best Shot" or "Stranglehold", depending on whom you ask. It was most likely some horrific mashup of the two.

So, to celebrate this momentous event, and in true Aunts spirit, they recently broke into the studio where The Corner Laughers were recording new material and busted out this cover tune when the others weren't looking...or were out having some sort of lentil-based snowflake lunch...or watching a British nature show on their solar-powered free-trade devices...or whatever it is they do for fun.

Meanwhile, the Infamous Ne'er-do-Well Lenny Gill was shootin' dice on the street nearby and investigated the commotion. After some cajoling -- probably aided by a couple bottles of Henny -- he got his Joe Perry on, strapped on a spare guitar and shredded the living hell out of it.

No amount of smudge-sticking/pagan cleansing ceremonies in the recording studio, afterward, could lure the Corner Laughers back in, so we all presume they are starting over from scratch elsewhere, probably in a Scandinavian Forest.
